Anisha Turner, MD, is a double board-certified family medicine and emergency medicine physician at Integrative Care 360, providing complete health care to people of all ages in Houston, Texas, and throughout Harris County.
Dr. Turner was born and raised in the Houston area. She was the valedictorian of her class at Lutheran High North and earned her undergraduate degree from Rice University. After graduation, Dr. Turner enrolled at The University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas and obtained her Doctor of Medicine.
Before entering private practice, Dr. Turner completed a dual residency in family and emergency medicine at Louisiana State University in Shreveport. Then, she returned to Houston and completed an education and administration fellowship at the Baylor College of Medicine (BCM).
As a family medicine physician, Dr. Turner diagnoses and treats most medical issues and has a special interest in hormone optimization. Having experienced metabolic imbalances herself, Dr. Turner understands the effect these conditions can have on one’s well-being.
There are various hormone treatments available, but Dr. Turner specializes in Biote® bioidentical hormone therapy –– a procedure that uses synthetic hormones to restore the body to balance.
As an Emergency Medicine physician, she is well versed in handling urgencies and emergencies and welcomes you to her telemedicine services. She is an expert in bedside ultrasound and ultrasound guided IVs for ease of access.
